Following prolonged/repeated periods of time under light, realgar will alter to pararealgar- a dusty yellow alteration. Its is recommended you keep realgar in a darker environment (unlit display cabinet). Also, while this is safe to gave in your collection- because realgar is an aresenic sulphide, its is recommended you wash your hands after touching.
