Stunning hand-carved pink & purple quartz skull with natural crystal.
(Some people call this material “pink amethyst” but the reason amethyst is “amethyst” is because its purple. In ancient Greek texts, “amethystos” referred to a specific type of grape vine that yielded non-intoxicating wine; in Latin the word became “amethystus” and also referred to purple quartz.)
The natural quartz points inside the skull are gorgeous! The surrounding quartz has more of a pibk tint while the points are more amethyst.
The back of the skull has a golden healer vibe with iron inclusions towards the base.
Measures 4.5” long and just over 3” high (11cm x 8cm). Weighs 918 grams!
