from the Jeffrey Mine, formerly a massive asbestos operation in Val-des-Sources, Quebec, Canda. The mine permanently closed in 2012, however these bi-colour specimens were primarily collected in the 1970s - 1980s.
The soft purple and green hues are distintive to this find.
The crystals are incredibly glossy and mostly terminated, with the largest measuring roughly 1 cm long and 4mm across the termination.
There is a small area of contact on the “back” but this highly-collectible small cabinet specimen could easily be considered two-sided.
Measures approximatly 1.5” x 1” (3.8 cm x 3.5 cm). Will come with acrylic display base.
