Cubic red calcite cluster plate in the shape of a heart from Daye County, Hubei, China.
The calcites are really cloudy/clear with red inclusions and phantoms likely from hematite or red clay (similar to the “chocolate calcites” from the same region).
The calcites individually measure roughly 1” across each side on average, and the entire piece measures 6.5” across and 5.5” high.
