Ferruginous quartz, also known as hematoid or red quartz, is colored by inclusions of hematite or limonite.
This is a large size deep red cluster with multiple clean points and both shiny luster and glittery deposits. The left and undersides of multiple points have excellent natural shine. There are a few broken areas, but the main visual center has clean terminations.
Most likely from Tinejdad, Errachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco.
Measures roughly 5” x 5” by 3.5” high. Weighs 2.77 lbs (1.2 kg).
