Stunning and electric yellow, well-formed sulfur (sulphur) crystals on matrix from a remote, volcanic area of Potosi, Bolivia.
These are naturally formed in the open volcanic rock pits at the El Desierto Mine, San Pablo de Napa in the Potosí Department of Bolivia.
There is a slight scent when you get close and give a good sniff, but it will not cause your display case to small. Crystallized sulphur is considered non-toxic but should be handled carefully and kept out if direct sunlight.
