These water-clear selenite crystals were found in 2024, while digging a family water-well in Bermejillo, Durango, Mexico.
This single selenite on matrix is so clear you can see the matrix through the body of the crystal. Beautifully terminatated with visible striations along the edges.
Selenite, a variety of gypsum is very soft- only 2 on the Mohs scale.
Comes with a custom-milled clear acrylic base.
Crystal measurement is a tad under 3”.
Specimen measurement is 3.25” x 2.75” (8cm x 7cm). With the base it sits 3” tall.
