Gemmy & lustery calcite from the Fletcher Mine, Reynolds County, Missouri, USA.
Ive seen this called nailhead calcite, but I go with barrel calcite. It has a unique tripod structure- the longer middle crystal is surrounded by 3 distinct stepped growths.
UV reactive.
A few minor dings but nothing that detracts.
Measures almost 2.75” along the longest side and 1.5” across the bottom.
